The image that we have created represents music. The blank spot in the middle represents the clarity of music. The rest of the colors represent the different tones of music. To the left, there is a blue section. It represents the key of the clarinet, and the the top left hand corner, it represents the bass clarinet. The brigth colors are for happy music, and the dull colors are for more sad and emotional music that has a meaning behind it.

What does "I think, therefore I am" mean now that you have read Descartes' writings and explored his philisophical viewpoints in class?
"I think, therefore I am", is a statement that was made by Rene Descartes who was a French Pholisopher who was questioning/doubting his existence. He has doubted everything until it was proven correct. "I Think, Therefore I am", means that you can not doubt that something or someone exists. If you have ever wondered about something like " Am I dreaming, do I really exist?" means that you really do exist, your not dreaming, you are thinking. Thinking does not need a place or any material. He states that sometimes we can not trust our bodies only our minds, but sometime our minds may lie to us. |
